What IS TeleMagic Anyway?
TeleMagic Enterprise is a software program that is built on a Microsoft relational database engine. It has customisation features that enable almost any business process to be modelled in it. In many installations, it is used in a CRM role, tracking all interactions with accounts and contacts.
In complex scenarios, TeleMagic can be enhanced with a third-party product called ‘Hot Buttons’ to achieve multiple relationships between databases – e.g. the relationships between Courses, Delegates, Tutors and Locations.
All implementations are network applications that can support any number of users, companies, contacts, proposals, orders, documents and activities. TeleMagic is unique in its adaptability to support sales and sales management, telemarketing, customer service and support applications.
What is the current status of TeleMagic software?
TeleMagic is owned by The Sage Group plc through its ownership of Interact Commerce Corporation in the USA. Although Sage Software continues to license the TeleMagic product, Sage no longer supports TeleMagic. However there is an active, dynamic community of “Authorized Marketing Partners” providing support, professional services and complimentary product applications.
TeleMagic is sold through a worldwide group of authorized marketing partners (“AMPs”). The AMP community has been selling Telemagic and supporting TeleMagic customers since 1985. Presently, AMPs offer a broad range of complementary products and services.
Virtually every TeleMagic installation has been customized by an AMP organisation to attain the “right fit”. AMPs have created thousands of custom solutions for a wide variety of industries, all using TeleMagic. Many AMPs have created turnkey solutions for specific industries. These TeleMagic-based custom solutions include health care management, sports team ticket processing, freight forwarding, hardware parts order processing, maritime insurance agency, gluten-free bakery management and many more.
Which TeleMagic should we buy?
The current release of Telemagic is Version 5 Service Pack 4. This version has been implemented on network and standalone systems running Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
